From US patent 466,600, "Type-Writing Machine." Issued 1892-01-05 to Arthur Wise Cash of Bridgeport, CT. Filed 1889-07-23 as application serial no. 318,454. Assigned to the Typograph Company, of Hartford, CT.
As my Notebooks of typewriter "studies" will concentrate on obscure machines, it seems appropriate that this is a machine shown in a patent by the inventor of an obscure typewriter (the Typograph of Arthur Wise Cash) - but that it isn't even that typewriter. It's machine of which there appears to be no other record at all.
