This is for a mold to produce two strips simultaneously. What is interesting about it is the timing. The mold described is not unlike the modern Elrod mold (and is of a form which didn't exist in the "nozzle" design of the basic Elrod patent 1,438,951 filed 1917 (issued 1922). This modern mold form is described in patent 1,567,363, which was, indeed, filed before the present patent (in 1920), but wasn't issued until after it (1925).
It also indicates that a thin divider had been tried earlier, but rejected.
The pressure oiler may be similar to the later Elrod, but there is no Sealing Valve yet. On the other hand, the parts of the machine other than the mold may simply be schematic here.
