The five files below are an exact copy of the Peter Holzmann USENET distribution of Dr. Allen V. Hershey's glyph data to the former USENET newsgroup mod.sources in December 1986 as archived in the comp.sources.unix archive, Vol. 4. I downloaded it from ftp://ftp.uu.net/usenet/comp.sources.unix/volume4/ in 2003. These files are presented here for their historical interest. At the present time, the distribution of Hershey glyph data with the GNU® Plotutils package is probably a better source.
This distribution is described in greater detail in its README file (extracted from the above), which also contains the statements required to redistribute these files.
For further information concerning these glyphs, see the Notebook Exploring Dr. Hershey's Typography.
The Holzmann USENET distribution of the Hershey data is subject to the license conditions specified in its README file. Its redistribution here complies with these conditions. Its redistribution here is entirely separate from the Notebook Exploring Dr. Hershey's Typography.
